Copyright and content
All content on XM3.RADIO, including sound art, music and visual material, is protected by copyright.
We only broadcast works for which we have explicit permission from the artist or label, or works released under a Creative Commons licence that allows it.
Each work is subject to its own licence or agreement. Some works may be shared or reused under the terms of their Creative Commons licence; others require explicit permission from the rights holder.
You may not record, redistribute or commercially exploit broadcast content unless the applicable licence allows it or the rights holder has given prior written consent.
Privacy and cookies
XM3.RADIO respects your privacy. We do not collect personally identifiable information about our listeners.
The player stores your volume and visualiser settings locally in your browser so they are remembered next time. This information never leaves your device.
To deliver the stream and the On-Demand Request feature, your IP address is processed by our streaming provider, Radiolize. We do not share data with anyone else, and we do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
Comments
If you leave a comment, we store the name, email address and IP address you submit, along with your comment, so we can display it and protect the site against spam. Your email address is never published. If you tick “Save my name, email, and website”, WordPress stores this in cookies on your device for one year. You can ask us to delete your comments and data at any time via our contact page.

XM3.RADIO is provided “as is”. We aim for stable operation but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access to the stream. We accept no liability for technical errors or for any loss resulting from use of the website.
XM3.RADIO is a non-profit platform run by the art association XM3.
Licensing: Gramex and Koda
XM3.RADIO is not a webcast as defined in § 1 of Gramex’s webcasting agreement (Netradioaftale 2026). Under § 1, webcasting is a form of online broadcasting in which users cannot influence the broadcast or the tracks it includes, and cannot skip tracks.
XM3.RADIO plays a randomised playlist that listeners can influence directly through our On-Demand Request function. Any listener can request a track from our library, and it will be played on the live stream after three to four songs. Our station therefore falls outside the scope of § 1. Gramex has confirmed this to us in writing.
All music on XM3.RADIO is broadcast with permission from the artists and labels concerned. The artists we play are not members of Koda.
